Manuel Kistler is our Research Engineer in the Medical Engineering department.
Even during his dual master's degree in mechanical engineering, he focused strongly on medical technology in orthopaedics and trauma surgery. As an engineer, he is responsible for various implant tests in accordance with medical regulations (MDR, ASTM & ISO). In close cooperation with medical specialists, he has been able to publish the latest research results in scientific journals in addition to developing new implants and treatment methods:
As part of his freelance appraisal work, Manuel also prepares well-founded damage appraisals for accident surgery osteosyntheses and orthopaedic endoprostheses. Atrialis customers in the field of medical devices also benefit from Manuel's independent expertise on request.
